The fools daughter
Trying to break a pattern,
but my truth can’t exist
without a fight.
So I swallow my voice
just to keep your peace.
I wear a mask,
because being myself
is never enough.
No unconditional love—
instead, you carve me
into something easier to hold,
something I’m not.
Mistakes were made,
so much left unsaid,
buried like it never happend.
I feel unseen—
unwanted, unloved.
Ready to leave this carnaval,
before it swallows me whole.
So here I am—
somewhere between
love’s illusion and someone I used to be.
A fool in a place that wears the name of love.
The artwork is made by me.

Loved the Harmony between the art and the verses. Each competing the other in the beauty 🖤
