Opposites at war
Red moon rising, I’m having dark dreams— buried alive in my own extremes.
You gave me a call, “Honey, I could come by, help forget it all.”
Oh— you’re so pretty when you lie to me. Pulling me in so easily.
A fever killed the warning and when we get together— damn, you make me feel so cheap. I give—you take—you leave.
But I can’t help myself. I still wanna give it to you, just to see what you’ll do.
My soul is tortured with love and lust and hate. My heart you slowly desecrate.
Your lips want anyone else. Mine taste like everyone else. I know this way too well.
Hold me closer. Smother me. Make me lose what I cannot see.
Sheets soaking, heart beating fast. Shadows of you always last.
Waking up, 4:44 AM— I swear I heard you call my name.
Beautifully taunted,
Satisfyingly haunted.
